a lottery syndicate at the DVLA have won last fridays payout
of £62,500 each
now because 3 members havent paid for the tickets
there are big arguements happening
should they be paid
difficult situation as they all work in the same office
legal i expect they shouldent but i would feel so guilty
spending my cash
i would give them some of my winnings but thats just me

Real life imitating fiction.

The Syndicate on BBC is looking at just that problem. If it was just a one or two week relapse I would share, but if someone officially pulled out then tough luck.

If they had just forgotten, or not been able to pay for a few weeks, but had every intention of staying in the syndicate I would share. If they had officially pulled out then like Frank said, it's bad luck :?

I agree, if it had been an oversight then they should be included in the payout, otherwise it's tough luck :?

I was actually reading a story earlier about a syndicate in Florida which won $1,000,000. A woman who'd only just started working there couldn't afford to play and another person offered to loan her the $20 to join but she refused to take the loan (which I guess many of us would) and when they won they all gave her a cut of their winnings so that she wouldn't feel left out.
I thought that was lovely :)

It's why all such syndicates should have written rules that everyone signs up to .......

I would share but I do think it depends on how long they haven't paid for and if it was a regular occurence.
