Vocal Voices

I've been so good today, I burnt off 1000 calories on the treadmill alone this morning and I'm trying so hard to stop comfort eating. I've force fed the last of the lovely ginger biscuits onto Joe (who didn't complain).
Tom has friends around, they've been sledging and have now taken over the kitchen. There were seven of them at the last count. I heard a couple of them leave and come back a short while ago.
A smell has just drifted up the stairs.
They've been to the chippy!!!

I want chips

S has just arrived home telling me that she has been to the chippy on the way home.

Ha - that served her right. She thinks she has left her best gloves (nice thick ski gloves) in the chippy so has set off back to see if she can find them.

At least it will walk the chips off!
