Off to the north of Portugal for some hill and rock climbing.

Was in Decathlon when it opened this morning as I realised I hadn't bought a sleeping bag (Jacob has one but no way was I trekking over to Malaga)

I haven't been camping since 1977 on a school trip in the Trossachs where, in the middle of the night I woke up (and soon woke up my camping chums) battering to death with a saucepan what I thought was a mouse. On closer inspection we discovered I had been battering a Brillo pad.

Telling David this resulted in much laughter and a quick recce for nearby hotels.

We'll be fine.......
