No! I don't use the big boys because of all this twonk.... except when I want a throw-away e-mail address.
I'm so glad you realised that it was not genuine Vic. Don't click on any links, just junk it.
Nobody, but nobody, asks for passwords or phone numbers.

These criminals often use an official (looking) template from a 'real' business in order to draw people in. They then spoof the address to where the information is sent.
Look at the STDs on the Just For Fun board. I could tweak a template it in minutes, anyone could.
It worries me greatly that people are prepared to give away such information as names, addresses, bank account numbers, NI numbers and so on based on these e-mails.
Don't do it folks, just junk the e-mails, don't even acknowledge them.

Vic,
The mail was a scam. Look at the sender. It purports to come from yahoo-email.com. In fact there is email-yahoo.com and lots of other yahoo.com addresses, but no -email.com.
When yahoo sends you a mail they tell you your yahoo account name in xx******yyy format. The mail is almost all plain text and doesn't look fancy at all. Even then I exit the mail and log into yahoo as normal.
If you do as these emails say, they will empty your mailbox and send an email to all your contacts saying that you are lost in xxxxxxx country/city (my friend's was Stockholm) and that you have had all your documents and your mobile stolen and need cash now.
Glad you weren't taken in.
