I've just put 2 pics on the photo board that I took this morning of different mountains.

I adore mountains..just love the sheer size of them. :D

And although I can see the Med (far off in the distance) from my house I would love to live right by the sea.

We tell ourselves when we're older we'll buy an apartment right by the beach. :D :D

Fields or hills or sea...what views do you all like?

I love a sea view or a view of a city. John's always wanting to take me to the Lake District but I went with the Guides when I was 13 and I doubt very much that anything's changed since then view wise. When I walk out of our road and up the hill towards town I can see Birmingham city centre and all that lies in between - I love that view.

I'm with you on the city views too Jo. :D

Have you ever been up Primrose Hill and seen the view of London?

That's great. :D

The view there is stunning! In fact I'm planning on going there again when we're in London in June.

When we lived at Bb's flat the entire view was the sea :D
It was on the first floor, opposite the zigzag down to the sea and had a big bay window. We absolutely loved it, it was like having a moving picture every day. Unfortunately you can't have it all, and we swapped the view for a proper kitchen and a garden :)
I love all sorts, mountains yes, but also London; I miss being able to go when ever I fancy, it's too far away and too expensive from here. I was always used to only being an hour away by train.
The sea probably wins overall though, in lots of different settings and moods.

That's just it with a sea view isn't it? It's constantly changing. When we go to Bude I could happily sit all day just watching the sea...the sun glistening off it and the gentle waves, or crashing off the rocks when it's not so calm. Beautiful.

I could sit by the sea all day and never get bored - I just love it! I don't care what time of year either :D I would love to live by the sea.............

I like hills and mountains as well - we drove home past the Malverns yesterday, just before sunset, and then on through the Cotswolds as the sun set red behind them..................stunning :D

Leeds is in a bowl so all the outer suburbs are higher than the tallest buildings, all with good views.

The Dales are pretty, but I like the open skies of the high moorlands of the Pennines.
