Vocal Voices

Well...I am very, very impressed with the work Don has done in our en-suite.

He completely re-tiled it, cleaned up every little bit of mess and has left it immaculate.

But...he cleaned the two mirrors in there, not with my usual window cleaner but with a disinfectant spray!
He'd picked up the wrong bottle!

One of the mirrors is huge and looks like one of those funny mirrors at the fair!

I've just tried to clean them using my normal glass spray but they're still really streaky.

Any tips to get them looking normal again?

No idea but maybe you could charge for people to come in and look at themselves.

try really hot water with white vinegar if you have at home?

or good old fairy liquid?

Vinegar and newspaper has worked for me in the past, methylated spirits are also good for cleaning mirrors - not sure if it'd work on streaks though but it was what we used to use in the hair salon I worked in and it cut through the film of hairspray with no problems.

Always methylated spirits in the salon Jo. Vinegar and newspaper works too - after you've eaten the chips

Personally I'd put some on a damp sponge and give the mirror a good wipe and then rinse it off..... final buff with the vinegar and newspaper

Noooooooooooo.
Never, ever, use wash up liquid to clean glass. It is a 'greasy' cleaner - that's why it cuts through grease - but it will leave as many streaks as it removes. The old vinegar and newspaper is tried and tested as is Brasso and paper.
