Yesterday i popped into Sainsburys for a quick bite at lunchtime--sausage,egg and bacon

1 sausage=£1.50 :shock:

! rasher =£1.50 :shock:

1 egg =70p :shock:

You must be joking!! Manager refunded me and said "i have over 60 complaint forms here" but nothing changes.

Is this usual in Sainsburys?

I eat in Sainsbury's sometimes, we find the food very good and very cheap. Where else can you get a pot of tea for £1.10?

Doreen, Becky and I had lunch in there the other week - I had omelette and salad, B had ham egg and chips, and D had omelette and chips. We had a drink each and it was undee £15 for the three of us! Mick and B have the breakfast sometimes and their plates are piled high - your issue must be a local one :shock:

Ho dear vic I bet you wish you where still on your Mediterranean island in the sun we used to have tea in morrisons but I don't now I'm on my own

Rip-off Britain Vic. As Saundra says Morrison s do a similar deal but with beans, fried bread and toms and a refill tea or coffee for much the same price.

... and down here, Waitrose have announced they're ending the free cup of regular coffee offer for My Waitrose card holders in their café.

The local garden centre, which has a loyalty card to earn you a free coffee, will be getting more custom in future .....

Actually, Vic, you'd be lucky to get that breakfast for £3.70 in this neck of the woods.
