Good morning

(((((((Saundra)))))))

Really warm here but cloudy. :D

I have belly ache from laughing last night.

I met Don in Paco's for a couple early doors straight after work...and got home at 10.30.
We played table football that turned into world champion proportions!
It was such good fun. :D :D

Relaxing day today then back to Paco's for the Malaga game at 6 o'clock then STRAIGHT home with a campero and chips takeaway!

Enjoy the day everyone.

Morning Saundra, morning everyone xxxx

You're right Saundra, it's not an easy weekend for those of us missing our mums, hugs for all of us here who are feeling this way (((((((((((((((((x))))))))))))))))))))

Horrid weather here too, dull and wet, but H is here so we'll be out in a bit, and then tonight we are out for an extended family meal as Mick's brother and family are up from Yeovil..........I'll have to pace myself as it will be a busy day :? I've bought my MIL a planted basket and Mick has done a painting of her favourite photograph, of her and Mick's late dad - she's going to be over the moon with that!

Have a good saturday everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone

Bright and breezy this morning and the washing machine is working - so far ;)

Saundra, have a hug xx and everyone else missing their mum xx

Not Mother Day here until June, but it's Fathers Day on 17th. Daughter and I were going to skype today, but Oliver had a bad night, so they're both a bit tired and grumpy, so we'll do it tomorrow.

Footie for us later and a lovely chicken curry (thanks Ally x)

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :)
Ally we'd have enjoyed that, I'm a table football demon
Kaz that'll be a nice meal out :)
Ton enjoy your curry, and Saundra and all of us missing mums have a (((((hug))))).

For once the forecast wasn't right, it's not bad at all here - well, it's not raining! It's dry and even sort of bright (at a push). Bb will have to work for a while, he tries not to when youngest is here but sometimes it's unavoidable. It's local so not too bad.
He'll be collecting eldest from work at 6, think we're going to have a lasagne, Bb and youngest might make us some tear 'n' share garlicky bread :)
Ooh and chocolate loaf for anyone feeling peckish ;)
Have a good day all
Di

Morning all, it's not Mother's Day here either tomorrow, ours isn't until may. Instead it's our wedding anniversary tomorrow. 13 years already. The first 10 went very quick  I think the kids have slowed the last three down.

All we have planned so far is a babysitter from 4pm. And there's a bottle of Moët in the cupboard from the house sale, so I think that may need chilling.

I got my garden planted out today. Normally the day after a migraine I have no logic, (actually that should be my disclaimer for any wayward posts today.....) anyway, normally logic goes out the window the day after, so tomorrow I will probably look at how I have laid out the garden and go, "you put what... Where??!! Why?" Anyway, I've planted carrot, cauliflower, broccoli, beans, peas, zucchini, capsicum, silverbeet, baby beet roots, onions, cucumber, lettuce... Um I think that is all. No wonder it took my and the little ones all day. I've still got one bed left to plant. Not sure what to put in there. Might just put lupins or mustard seeds or something as it is autumn now.

Morning all :D Like Di says, the weather is better than expected. Mr L will be out on the drive continuing to put up some fencing. I will be off to Winchester to pick up my specs and to have a little wander. Winchester is lovely to visit and it just happens to have a really nice fabric shop...(innocent whistling smiley).
We went to a Milonga last night and I'm pleased to say that it went well. Of course the hearing isn't better, but the comfort levels are. I was able to dance without the awful clanging sounds I heard last time. I think the brain is adjusting to things which is wonderful. Trying to chat was a nightmare as I can't hear unless the other person is looking right at me, but I coped with a few 'pardons' and a lot of guess work  The main thing is I danced :D
Wishing everyone a good day and warm thoughts to those of you missing your mums xxx
