i suppose

with our bad weather this week ,a tourist has fallen hundreds of feet into a ravine while walking in the mountains -really not advisable following all the rain.
this particular walk is very steep/very narrow /very rocky /no handrails.
we have done it in summer but even then it was dodgy covered in wet rotten leaves

in a 2nd event a local fell into the harbour and although 3 teenagers dived in to help ,it was'nt to be . pulled out dead i'm afraid,the water is VERY choppy with this high wind

My heart goes out to the family of that tourist and the people who drowned, esp the families of the three teens that jumped in to help;

How dreadful Vic, high winds and too much rain is a lethal combination
