Skyscraper shoes!!

I've just seen a photo in the paper of Victoria Beckham in her trade mark very high heeled shoes.

I don't know about anyone else but I would have been too scared wearing heels so high, holding my baby (or babies in my case! ) in case I fell over and dropped my poor munchkins on their heads.

The few times I do wear high heels now, although they make me feel quite elegant, I find myself always being 'aware' of my footwear as opposed to just having flatties on and feeling 100% comfortable. IYSWIM?

When I wear heels I just about manage to hold onto my handbag ..never mind a little baby! :?

I know just what you mean, there's no way I could've carried a baby or toddler around whilst wearing anything with a heel...and I always wonder just how uncomfortable her feet must feel after walking in those?!
On the very, very, VERY rare occasion that I wear heels I spend most of the time sitting so that I don't have to walk or stand and risk my neck

I love heels but hardly ever wear them these days as they kill my back  I used to wear them a lot at one time, and agree about the elegant feeling 8-)

At a slight tangent, but I do wish La Beckham would crack a smile sometimes - she is young, goodlooking, rich, has four gorgeous children and a very handsome hubby  I'd be grinning like a cheshire cat 24/7 :P    :D

 Maybe that's not a million miles from the truth! It may be hard to believe but she isn't 100% confident with her looks, she has had bad acne in the past and has been known to say she doesn't have the best smile. In these days of whiter than white perfect teeth, maybe she just doesn't want to bare hers....I can sympathise with that, not being blessed with perfect teeth myself

I can't believe I used to wear quite high heels to commute on the train, get to the tube, then walk - fast! - the length of Baker Street
They weren't as high as the ones you see now, but all the same!
Now I hardly ever have the reason to wear them but would rather like to find a pair that's elegant and comfortable - and then find an excuse to wear them :D

Victoria's said she thinks her smile is unattractive, but what a terrible shame that someone so blessed still has such hang-ups.
