Morning everyone

Lovely morning

Just having coffee - another one - then out to try and finish the weeding. Think I'll only do an hour - my back aches too much after that and there is always tomorrow

Grumpy is going to make a start on building me a wall - to keep the wind off the back terrace, so we can sit our for longer in the winter - and summer Just shoulder height, then we can have a proper outside kitchen, as we'll be using the old work-top and we already have an outside tap and lecky there

Out for dinner tonight, courtesy of Mitch and one of his cockerels He took it to Odette yesterday, for her to kill and then cook it. Should be between 6 - 8 of us

I had a lovely lie-in till 9am.

Gorgeous here so after a coffee I'll have a swim.

We're off to a paella party late afternoon.

I need to watch last night's Masterchef final first before I find out who won.

'Tis beautiful Sat outside on the balcony with a coffee, in short sleeves and warm
Made good time, landed at 7.40 and in our apartment by 8.45.
A trip advisor recommended restaurant is 2 minutes walk away so we went there, it was lovely! You could have tapas or a full menu so we shared 3 dishes.
The Portuguese don't quite get tapas Ally, the portions are a bit too big, but the food was gorgeous.

Last night was lovely and warm too
Today is set to be quite hot, 27c
We'll be unpacking, getting some shopping (supermarket 3 minute walk) and then exploring
Only downside - there's always one - is the several flights of stairs to our apartment, and no lift!

The last few times I've gone to the airport to either pick up or drop off I've mentioned how busy it's been.

I'm trying to book us a hotel room in Benalmadena next weekend and not having much luck!

Think everyone must be staying there!

Good Morning all.
Raining here at the moment but expected to brighten up.
I hope so as Beckie (one of our grandaughters) is getting married
this afternoon to Dean.
I wish we could be there but Don won`t go as he says he gets embarrassed if
people who knew him before his strokes see him now.
Daughter and sil are ignoring us due to an argument which started ages ago so
perhaps it is best we are not there.
Another reason is that no mention of transport for us was forthcoming and it is too
far for me to drive.
I wish them all the luck and love in the world and thanks for all the happy memories Beck.xx

Good morning all.

It's been cool but dry here this morning, and we've been into town on a shopping expedition.
Can't say I enjoyed it, as I've been in agony with these legs of mine. I have an appointment
at my doctors on Tuesday, to have my coagulation checked, so I'll see then if I can increase
my pain-killing medication. I keep telling myself that there are plenty of people worse off.
