In my role as trainee two bob millionaire, a new vac has been bought. We had to, the twenty year old one just died on us.
So we got a Dyson ball thingy.
My God, you ought to see the dust and muck it has shifted!
We have obviously been living like right mucky scratters for years without knowing!

Yes Cromwell, we've obviously been living like pigs for years too - this one replaced an older Dyson too!

I'm resisting because my Numatic Henry will never wear out, never break, they are indestructible but I want a Dyson too as I think I'd be shocked like Cromwell at the result. I've got such a small carpet areas I wonder if the battery one would be enough or would I be better with the ball one?

My
rechargeable is fixed to my utility room wall on a dock-in station. For a small area it would be fine, it actually does large areas too, and hard floors, and stairs - it's marvellous on stairs as the wand comes off and it really saves your back

My little new Dyson is picking up the most amazing amount of dirt. The first time I used it I couldn't believe it. Maybe I should be on Compulsive Cleaners (see other thread) as one of the dirt birds.

Not heard that for yonks, but if that's what you are a new Dyson won't change things.
