Wet and wetter here, absolutely teeming down, real stair rods Not looking forward to the walk up to zumba and then up to D's afterwards, but if you stayed home every time it rained in Gloucester you'd become a hermit Good news on the scales yesterday, only a pound but this close to target every pound is hard won!

The dishwasher has packed up, so I need to empty it, wash all the dirty dinner plates and stuff from last night by hand, and then call the repair man Hope he can come today!

Glad we got out for a walk yesterday, it was very windy but nice and warm. Absolutely tipped it down overnight and it's not looking too bright out there right now.

How annoying about the dishwasher Kaz, hope you can get it fixed today.

Up early as it's hairdresser this morning. The salon gets so manic it's better to have an early appointment before things get too mad. This afternoon we're off to the cinema to see Wonder Woman, haven't seen any trailers but it's getting good reviews, not sure what to expect.

Warnings have been given about the wind in Kent.
Would rather stay in but Don has his diabetic assessment appointment
at the surgery at 11 am so needs must.
Will do the shopping on the way home and then stay in unless the

Kaz, super well done on the weight loss - as you say the closer to target you are the harder it is... so well done you! And make sure you put on the wet suit and pack your snorkel and flippers when you head out later
Jan, that is rather odd re the weather - hopefully it'll warm up sometime soon. And fingers crossed for the car - that has taken ages!
Saundra, lucky you with the weather - it started raining last night when I got home and hasn't stopped since. Expected for most of today as well
Lissie, my heating came on yesterday morning as well as this morning - as you say; you'd think it's February vs June... not helped when my brother sends a message from South Africa saying it's 26 degrees there and it's winter. And here we are at 16 degrees in summer!!!!

Well back to usual / usual for me today.

No rain so far, quite bright but black clouds around and a ferocious gale so could change any time.

The boys are coming this afternoon and staying for dinner
Eldest is only home very briefly as he's working virtually all summer so he's fitting us in while he can
Have been to w/rose for a Chinese feast (we don't have a decent takeaway), never underestimate how much boys can eat
