Happy birthday to my lovely eldest son Craig - 32 today!

I'm going to ring him later from the top of the mountain I'm climbing.

David's picking me up at 8.30am and we'll be off. La Concha will be quite tough to climb (in this heat! ) but if we make it to the top (there's a tiny peak right at the top as if someone's stuck an extra bit on ) we'll be able to see the coast of Africa as well as Marbella.

Staggering in to Jose's this evening when we finish to meet Don and watch the footy final - Juventus v Real Madrid. The place will be bonkers!

Ironing is on the agenda today, as is making naan breads and prepping for the chicken curry. Antonia is back for dinner, as she wanted to try a curry this time. We're taking Gez's car back to Louise this afternoon, so will pit-stop at the bar on the way back.

Good morning, it's mixed weather here as per usual bank holiday weather We were a bit late to bed last night, dancing, then went for a cup of tea in a nearby hotel with friends. No real plan for the day, there is lots of ironing to be done but it will be there tomorrow. A little snooze will be on the agenda too as we are out dancing again tonight and it will be a much later night as it is 9-12 and a 40 minute drive away. We are helping friends who are putting on a dance for the first time next week in the same venue, so we all want to see how it can be set up with tables/chairs etc. for best use of the space. My ability to stay up late is zero these days

Bb's out working, washing is blowing nicely
Don't tell him but with my yummy coffee I just had a couple of chocolate hobnobs from my secret stash
I don't often fancy a biscuit but got fed up with always finding the tin empty, so now we have occasional 'public' biscuits and I have my little secret
Of course if he happens to read this they will have to be moved

Been trying to clear up my little craft room a bit, quite a lot had got dumped in there before we went on holiday (when Adrian did the hall, stairs and landing).
Tricky while the tall black bookcase is still in there, but so far no takers on either freecycle or Nextdoor for that, will give it a week.

How funny Di! I only ever buy biscuits when John's mom is here, they're one of her main food groups I think I do sometimes fancy one though and, of course, there aren't any! Our biscuit barrel contains Billy's biscuits...

Good afternoon all. I intended having a lie in this morning. I was going to stay in bed until my alarm went off at 7.45 after being up by 6 to take Bill for an early walk all week but at 6.13 Billy decided that he'd waited long enough as he likes the routine he'd got into this week It was nice and sunny though.

Tom's gone to work, Joe's considering getting up and me and John are off to Stafford shortly. Tonight I'll be watching the Champions League final with Joe.
