Good morning all, it's sunny and quite warm here.

I'm currently losing the will to live while trying to speak to Virgin Trains. Me and Joe are going to a testimonial game in Manchester on Sunday, advertised with a 4pm kick off so train tickets have been booked accordingly. Now some bright spark has arranged a benefit concert for the same-ish time at the cricket ground just down the road. As a consequence the kick off has now been changed to accommodate this, as of yesterday, to 2.30pm which is when our train gets into the station 3 miles away. Anyway, Cross Country have a message on their website stating that due to the terrorist attack, full refunds will be given to passengers now not wanting to travel so we're trying for that and rebooking different trains. Only problem is that it states that you need to contact the company you booked through, Virgin in our case, and it seems that the message hasn't yet filtered through to India....

Housework today, hoovering, ironing and the lawn needs cutting too.

Have a good day all!

Morning all

A dull but warm morning here

Ally, enjoy your day
Saundra, I'm so jealous - I've got a whole lot of plants I bought on Sunday that I need to pot up; would love to be able to do that but it'll have to wait until Sunday, or maybe some on Friday evening.
Kaz, hope the rain holds off for you and you can get all your bits and bobs done
Jan, good luck with the finance department
Jo, good luck with the train tickets... that does sound rather painful having to deal with

Well usual work day for me, but leaving early as I need to collect Harry the cat from the vet this evening; he's having his ear op today poor boy. And hopefully I'll get home in time (and it stays dry all day) so I can mow the lawn! Then I'll be very happy.

Have a lovely day all x

Edited to add: just looked at the forecast and    - rain, rain, rain and more rain. Oh well

Jo, good luck with the travel arrangements ...

Hope you get a decent day for the planting-out, Saundra, it's another dull, miserable one here in Dorset.

Mrs O has old college friends coming to visit, so Ossie is going to make himself scarce - off to Blandford to try and sort out some savings accounts.

Enjoy your day, all! :D

Good morning all.

It's lovely weather here his morning. We're going out this afternoon to visit our friend and neighbour
who was involved is a horrific road accident some weeks ago, and has now been transferred from
hospital to a local nursing home. It's so sad.

Hope you are all well and enjoying this lovely weather.

Morning all :D

Bright but muggy here, don't think rain's forecast but we'll see.

Loved the film yesterday, lots of action and laughs, a great mix.

Expecting the garden furniture sometime between 12.30-2.30 today, fingers crossed it all arrives okay and the table isn't too tricky to put together. It's quiz night at The Botany this evening, should be fun.

Hope you all have a good day :D
