Just reading that the Canadians are trying to recall bottles of gin because it is too strong - nearly twice as strong as it should be!
It is actually 77% alcohol by volume instead of the still strong 40% normally sold. It earlier had to do the same for a batch of vodka that was 81%!
Apparently the return of already sold bottles was not the success they had hoped for.
Why don't these mistakes ever happen round these parts?
