Good morning.

Rain forecast on and off all day...but that's not going to put a damper on our plans.

First stop is Mercadona to buy a couple of chickens for tomorrow's dinner.

Back home to get dolled up as we've got a friend's daughters communion to attend in our local church at noon.

That'll be over by 1pm then Don & I are getting the bus into Malaga to do get some serious retail therapy...after we've had lunch at our favourite little restaurant.

Whatever time we get back to town tonight we'll pop into Jose's for a couple of beers and pick up a takeaway campero and chips.

Ally your day sounds great, hope it's all as much fun as it sounds

Well the funeral yesterday was sad, but it was the biggest turnout I've ever seen, the crem was packed and there were lots of people listening from outside! He was clear!y a much loved man. We went to the club afterwards for the wake and were there until gone 7, Mick doesn't get down there much these days, so caught up with a lot of people.

My boys should be here by 11.30! So looking forward to seeing them. Planning to go out for some food at some point, and just enjoy the day

Di have an absolutely fantastic holiday! I wish you good weatber, and great food and wine It's about now when we often go to Corfu, I looked at the weather tbere the other day, it looked fantastic, so I'm kind of wishing we hadn't decided to go in September or October instead!

Finishing off the cleaning ready for tomorrow, not sure if Antonia made it back yesterday or not. If she can, she'll be coming up here for dinner. She can have fish, we've got leftover chilli/curry. Well, it is Saturday and that's normally curry night

If it's not too cold/wet/nasty, we'll probably go down the bar this afternoon. My excuse is that I need to take a load of stuff down to the bins

Afternoon all, mostly cloudy here, windy and cold We were out early as Mr Osc needed a new phone cover, the stitching went on his other one and yesterday he lost his free travel card and his golf club card - while out on the golf course so hopefully someone found them and handed them in. Then we went up to Miss Osc's to look at their gate again, as the previous repair has not worked. It looks as if it was not correctly hung in the first place, and although Miss Osc has emailed the landlord and is still awaiting a reply, Mr Osc thinks he can do another temporary repair in the meantime. Home for lunch and now I am considering what to do with the afternoon. Hope Di and Bb have a lovely holiday
