Good morning. :D

Another lovely hot day forecast. 8-) 8-)

A quick run and back for a swim. :D

I'm making a chicken jalfrezi for dinner tonight. :D :D

We'll go out at 5.30 to watch the Easter processions. These are my favourite ones as they're so moving and I just love the atmosphere.

They go on until 3 in the morning but we'll head to Jose's before that to meet some friends, have a few beers then go home for the curry. :D :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, have a great time :)

Morning all :)

Ironing and packing today, the weather looks changeable, so we need layers  Will also be walking up to Sainsbury's at some point, with B, so she has enough food in for the long weekend. She's working most of it so won't get much chance herself. Then pilates tonight. We're not leaving until lunchtime tomorrow, so I 'll pop in before we do :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

Morning Ally, Kaz and everyone

Fog just lifting and the sun is out, so another warm day. We'll be down about 6C from yesterday

Sounds lovely Ally, enjoy x

Happy packing Kaz x

We've managed to repair the electric small strimmer that was left here, so I'll be having a go with that later 8-) 8-) Grumpy is having a day off from block laying, so we'll do some gardening instead.

Have as good a day as you can everyone xx

Morning all. Like Kaz, we may need some layers today but it's a better day here than yesterday with much less cloud. Wish we had some of Ally or Ton's warmth!

MrsC and her sister are off to Leeds clothes shopping (pause to register sharp pang in wallet) and I'm walking Dobby the mad puppy in a bit.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Morning all

Ally have a lovely day, esp the procession.
Kaz, good luck with the packing and enjoy the trip. And just seen the answer to my question on your other thread about when you're leaving :D
Jan, before you go mad with the stimmer, do a quick sweep and check of the area to make sure there's no wildlife bedded down ;)
Cromwell, enjoy the walk with Dobby and hopefully the wallet pang isn't too bad?

Well for a change not usual / usual for me. Last day for me, then Easter weekend and off next week - yippppeeee :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: And burgers for lunch today, and then heading over to Karl's after work.

Have a lovely day all x

Good morning all.

It's overcast here, so some rain is likely. We've not much on today (except clothes!)
Mrs A is playing Bridge this morning, and I have an appointment at the Docs for a
coagulation check.

Have a nice day.

Morning :)
Dull and windy here, with a cold wind. Don't know what some people are thinking, out in the town wearing their summer clothes, bare legs the lot
Bet they have their heating turned up to tropical!

Ally I remember your pics of the Easter processions, beautiful :)
Meriad happy holidays :Hi:
Hope you have fun with Dobby cromwell, I bet he makes you laugh :)
It is exciting Kaz, 1 sleep to go :D

I was out into town quite early, still got one of the last parking spaces, they're queuing everywhere now.
Did my usual stomp all the way up the High St and back to Tesco, discovered it's just over a mile :)
Got a nice plain pale blue cotton jumper from Edinburgh Woollen Mill, just right, the sort of thing to wear with anything and go everywhere :)
My previous one was navy, I had to concede it was finally too old and threw it out, but I think I bought it before we moved here
Forgot to buy hot cross buns

Poor Minnie has hurt her back leg; she and BB were back from their walk so she was already off the lead when Tigger came out, so she ran to see him and jolted her leg somehow (too excited). Very sorry for herself, she forgets as she gets up. Bb and I both went all over it, nothing made her yelp so it's just a pull combined with a bit of arthritis. She needs to learn she's not as young as she used to be.

Hope you're all having a good day
x

Good afternoon all! It's dull and breezy here, and not quite as cold as yesterday I don't think.

I've walked Billy and then sorted the spare room. The clean bedding just needs putting on now. Food shopping tonight so I must do some meal planning and a shopping list this afternoon.

Di, hot cross buns will be going on my list! Really hope that Minnie's leg eases soon, poor girl.

Have a good day all!

That sounds crazy Saundra!
What was the reason for the wait in the post office? I rarely use the 'main' one in town since it moved into WH Smiths. When it was in it's own building there were 15 counters and was often queued out of the door, now it's in Smiths it's been condensed down to 4 counters. There's a small post office in McColls just a 5 minute walk away though and it's rare that you have to queue so I tend to go there now.
