Good morning Thursday

Postby Ally » 09 Feb 2017, 06:49

Good morning.

Forecast lovely again. It's been a beautifully warm start to the month although rain is forecast tomorrow for 4 days. I'm looking at the sky thinking how can rain be due.

A run, day 9 of the squat challenge so that'll be 110 to do then lots of coffee.

Work 4 - 9 then meeting Don for a couple of beers and a bite to eat.

Have a great day everyone.

Good morning Ally and all, it's grey here but dry.

Just off out with Billy and then back to do some exercise, there's some housework too. Tom's coming over this afternoon as it's his 20th birthday today and we're going out for dinner. He's chosen the Indian restaurant down on the main road. It's also Billy's 5th Gotcha Day!

Have a good day all!

Morning Ally, Jo and everyone

Frosty start, but the sun is already melting it 8-) We also have 4 days of rain forecast, lots of it :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Happy birthday to Tom and gotcha day to Billy, Jo. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Sadly, not able to go to yoga this morning. The muscle is still achey around Gladys and I'm not risking anything 8-)

So shopping for bits and bobs in Ourique and also the supermarket. Down to 6 for dinner tomorrow, much better. When it's warmer, I'll happily have 10 around, but our is just too small inside to have that many here.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Shame about the yoga Ton xxx

Well it's very gloomy here, cold but not the nice bright and frosty kind. We are forecast sleet, yuck! :cute: Going to Cheltenham with A, she's picking me up at 11ish, so I'll wrap up well  Pilates tonight :)

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all

Ally, if day 9 is 110 squats then how many do you have to do at the end of the challenge - crikey???? :o :o
Jo, happy birthday to Tom, enjoy the dinner out tonight. I do quite like Indian food (but then I like most food really :D ). And Happy Gotcha Day fusses to Billy
Ton, sensible not doing yoga today, as much as it is a pity. But if the muscle isn't right then it's just not worth the risk as you say. Enjoy the shopping instead
Kaz, enjoy the day with A and don't spend too much

Well very grey skies here and quite nippy. Waiting at the station earlier on I'm sure there was a teeny bit of sleet in the air. Oddly enough though, looking at the longer term forecast. When I looked yesterday they were predicting about 10 days of quite cold weather. But when I looked this morning it's all changed again and now it's only the odd night or so that's in the minus figures (and then only -1 or -2). Definitely need to make sure the hedgehog food is always topped up now just in case one of them wake up early.

Usual work day for me but probably a slightly later train home; as I need to meet someone on that train. I lent her my night camera as she had something digging up her garden and was trying to find out what it was. She's now as hooked as I am and has bought her own so I'm collecting mine from her tonight.

Have a lovely day all, enjoy whatever it is you're up to. Stay warm and dry x

Just rung Antonia and told her I wouldn't be able to make it this morning.

So we're going to have lessons at her house and then I can take it a little slower - and not stretch quite so much ;)

Ria - I chose February for the squat challenge as there's only 28 days. But the chart says on that day I have to do 280!! :o

I shall have the fittest thighs in Norway! Image

that sounds like a perfect plan - and she can probably then also tailormake a more specific exercise regime that suits your (or rather Gladys's in this case) abilities / limitations

280 Ally????????????????????????????? :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

That's great Ton! :D

Hope you met your friend OK Ria, and got your camera :)

My new gym bag just arrived, I ordered it well over a week ago so was starting to wonder where it was :cute: I've been using an old bag of Harry's but decided I deserved a nice one of my own 8-) :Hi:
