A lovely day forecast so hubby and I are going for a walk along the coast this morning.

Back to pootle then homework club 4.30 - 6.30.

Friday night beers and tapas afterwards and looking forward to catching up with everyone.

We've had about an inch of snow overnight, might wait and see if it thaws before taking Billy out. The Merrells snow boots that I have are useless on anything other than a dry surface

Good Morning all,
Friday 13th so take care.


The snow is disappearing but has been replaced by treacherous ice.
The side roads have not been treated so unless it warms up and thaws
there is no way i can get the car out to the main road.
I really think i much prefer the snow.
We have plenty of food and drink to last the weekend so no worries
on that score.

Now I can see out properly, with the garden light on, it's still coming down quite heavily and it's very windy! Our patio is treacherous as what fell yesterday evening must have thawed and then frozen.

John's been nagged about sticking to the main roads rather than driving his usual route through the Chase.

We have about an inch too Jo! Mick is on the field right now, with the dogs. Fraggle was very surprised! Pepper not so much, we had a couple oif very snowy winters when she was young

I've no plans to go out today but B is travelling to Brum to go to a party tonight at J's house, the friend she made in Canada. Funny to think that she travelled all that way to make a good friend who lives 50 miles up the road Hopefully the trains will be OK. She's staying overnight anyway.

Billy's not impressed! It was snowing when we got back from shopping last night, I went out to the bin and asked him if he wanted to go into the garden. When I came back from the bin there was no sign of him in the garden and I found him hiding around the side of the kitchen table with a cluster of snowflakes melting on his head. That was all that made it out into the garden.

We had some snow in the night, then the moon came out. We now have blue skies. It is very windy and the snow has gone.

I've got the oven and hob to clean and then I really must get onto the veggie garden and do the weeding - we went down to the bar yesterday, instead of weeding

Scan in Beja later, Sue is taking me as I've only been to Beja once before and have no idea where everything is. Grumpy will meet us in the bar when we get back - probably about 7.00
