Morning all, I think we're forecast some rain later.

I need to pop into town first thing and hopefully it'll still be dry when I get back so that Billy can have a walk. I'll have a pre-weekend clean up too.

Good morning.

I slept from midnight right through till 9.15 this morning!

Day off from running so will enjoy a leisurely breakfast on the terrace.

It's the Day of Kings here so every restaurant will be bursting at the seams - I'll be very happy to have a nice quiet day at home.

No Friday beers and tapas as I have a 24km yomp tomorrow and need a clear head.

Very nippy morning here again as well, but as said, expected to warm up (a bit) and rain. Usual work day for me, meeting up with a friend for a quick drink after work (he's meeting his partner and his kids at 7pm so definitely a quick one) and then home. Am meant to take down the decorations tonight, but will see how I feel. If not then it'll be a job for tomorrow. I'll miss my tree and the other bits and bobs - I put it all up quite late this year so have really enjoyed it.

A late start for us, as it's still foggy Just couldn'0t be bothered to get up

I have some ironing to do, but might just leave it until the rest of the clothes are dry - which make take some time

Off to Antonia's tonight, I'm taking cream pie (from the Capri, in Fuzeta recipe) and as I have a blood test next week, I'll be driving - in the fog

Morning all

Started quite dull, but the sun's out now.

All the decs are down and packed away apart from the wreath on the door, that will come down today. Like you Ria, I've really enjoyed them all, the house always seems so empty when they're gone.

We're just having brekkie and then plan to pop out for some fruit and veg. If the weather stays nice and clear a stroll around the harbour beckons.

The weather's a bit nondescript here this morning.
We have been busy taking down and packing away our Christmas decorations.

Literally 2 minutes after I posted, the fog just disappeared

Whoosh and it was gone

Now a lovely, sunny day and the washing line is full

Gardening, I think, rather than sitting inside

It's been a weird day....so the loo was leaking, it's just above the hall/cloakroom downstairs and we noticed the light in there was staying on even when the pull cord was used....then Tom got a drop or two of water when he went in, we both went upstairs and the carpet round the loo was wet, pulled it back.......anyway John came and couldn't fix it so we stopped using that loo (luckily there's the en suite and the cloakroom loo) until Paul (plumber) got here. This morning the carpet is completely soaked right across the room so I phoned Paul to see if he could get here sooner. Bless him he came within 5 minutes - he's been up there over an hour trying to sort it. He thinks it's ok now but I have to ring him back if it leaks again....the pipe is boxed in which makes life difficult.... So I now have a soaking carpet and it smells a bit wee-ey......Grrrrr

So I left some cat biscuits in a dish on the decking and they keep disappearing. I haven't managed to catch sight of what is eating them, despite being in the kitchen when the last few disappeared! So I'm now watching directly from my chair in the living room! Jen thinks I am becoming obsessed, LOL!

Cloudy and cold today so I won't be going far.
