Well that was lucky!

While driving Mr Osc to his golf this morning, the "check tyre pressure" sign came on in the car. Now I tend not to know too much about how the car works and also have never mastered putting air in the tyres  So as I was going to be more or less passing the Ford dealer where we bought the car, I decided to pop in there after dropping Mr Osc off. They very kindly said if I could wait a little while, they would check it out. After about 35 minutes a mechanic came to give me back the keys and said that there had actually been a puncture although the tyre had not yet gone flat. So they had repaired the puncture, put air in all the tyres, all for the cost of ......... nothing! They didn't charge me anything!

That delay changed my plan for the day and I decided just to potter around the shopping centre where I had to collect something from Argos, have my lunch and then go back to collect himself. I knew my friend Angie, whose hubby was playing golf with Mr Osc, was having her hair done in the same shopping centre, so I texted her, we met up for lunch and had a good old chat. Now I have to rush and get ready to go out >>>>>>>>>>>>

Good work by the garage, I bet you will use them again. Image

And you could have got your hair done with the money you saved. Image

I took my car to have the tyres checked on Friday morning. I go to a well known company which I used to use when I was working.
I had two new tyres fitted this year before I had the MOT. Nitrogen was put in at the time.
Like Osc, I was not charged on Friday. Good service who will get my repeat custom when necessary.
