Just watching the Tango puts a smile on my face so I can imagine dancing the Tango must lift the mood.

Two left feet here  but I bet my mood would be lifted if I had one of those ladies to Tango with. :D :D :D

I would say any dancing - I know dancing has got the two of us through lots of stuff in the last nine years. It just clears your mind wonderfully, and even though the problems still exist, you seem somehow better able to deal with them after a few hours of dancing. I think you look lovely in that first photo, Loz, in the red dress.......

That's impressive isn't it, but like Kaz tend to think it would be any form of exercise :)

Well, it's the only exercise I do apart fro dog walking, so I'm biased (or is it bias? :? ) I also find walking in the countryside lifts my mood too :D But I think they talk about tango because you never know what the next step will be, so you have to have your whole mind on it, thus switching off from the real world for a short while.

Yes maybe the combination of completely switching off, having to concentrate, plus the exercise is what does it :)
Bb's mum and I used to go line dancing, I'm sure that had a similar effect :)

That's most interesting.

We always used to enjoy our dancing - latin & ballroom - and when doing a complicated routine
one certainly has to concentrate on what you're doing and forget life's little worries. If you love
music, that is an added bonus. Sadly, we don't do dancing now as my partner finds it out of the
question since two bout of chemotherapy.

But we've lots of happy memories.
