Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 21 Oct 2016, 01:48

Good morning.

Up uber early as a friend asked me to take him to the airport to meet his brother who's flying in from New York.

Back home, a quick run then get ready to go and see mum and dad. Lunch has been promised at a chiringuito. :D

Homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then the second visit of the day to the airport to meet Ed (Don's nephew) who is coming over for a week. After dumping his case we'll take him into town to join up with the usual Friday beer and tapas lot...he'll love it. :D

Have a great day everyone, safe travels to those on the move  including Jo...have a smashing holiday.

Good morning!

Thanks Ally! Have a lovely time with Ed!

We're all packed and aim to be on the way by 9am. Our flight isn't until 3.45pm but we can get some lunch near Heathrow. I actually feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone - the boys have said they're sitting together on the plane, they were chatting away last night and making arrangements for Joe to stay with Tom one weekend. So different to a year or so ago when they couldn't even be in the same room as each other!

We went to Joe's college parents evening last night. His lecturers were so positive about him and how he's progressing. He really does seem to be enjoying his course though.

I'll be taking my iPad with me so depending on how good the hotel wifi is I'll try and check in.

Have a good day all!

  Saundra. I'm absolutely positive I could do the airport run with my eyes closed.

That's great about Joe and his course Jo and glad to hear the boys are getting along nicely now. :D :D

It's the twins' birthday on Sunday and I've just booked a flight for Conor for 4 days in January to go and stay with Jacob in the UK. :D :D

Easiest birthday present ever!

Morning all :D

LOL Saundra I was just going to say the same - that could be a nice little sideline there Ally ;) Great idea for the birthday presents for the twins  8-) :D

Jo, have an amazing holiday!!! It's nice when your kids grow up and start to be friends, Becks and Harry used to squabble and niggle so badly, and now they chat and support each other, and get on well with each other, and with Chris when they see him. I am so looking forward to Christmas when the three of them will be here :D Safe flight :D :D :D xxxx

Ton, I must do some ironing this morning, for the weekend

The sun is out here, although chilly of course. I must do the ironing I mentioned, and then a bit of food shopping as I didn't get that done yesterday after all, as I went up to see D.

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning everyone and happy happy Friday :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Jo, safe travels to you all and have just the best time ever and don't spend too much money in the Converse shop. But also don't forget that the more you spend the more you're actually saving due to the £/$ exchange rate and the higher cost of them over here

Ally, enjoy the lunch with the parents. And what a fab gift idea for the boys.
Ton, Kaz and Saundra, enjoy your respective home days

Usual work day and evening home for me, so nothing exciting to report.

Have a lovely day all x
