Poor Me

Postby pederito1 » 20 Oct 2016, 11:57

Last Friday I was happily riding my mobility scooter when I was hit at the side by a big lorry and went underneath the thing. The scooter was destroyed but I managed to extricate myself suffering a nasty thigh wound and several minor cuts and bruises. I came out of hospital yesterday. Son came from Edinburgh to help me and has now gone back but Daughter is coming at the week end. Luck I suppose has not completely left me as it could have been much worse and lost an arm or leg or even killed. :( :(

Goodness you were indeed lucky. I hope you are not in too much pain.
I am glad the children are watching over you.
I just cannot imagine how you can possibly get a scooter up your steep driveway.
Do as you are told now and get well very soon.x

Wowzer Ped, you are very very lucky - that really could have ended much worse.

Wishing you a speedy recovery and hopefully you're sorted with a replacement scooter asap
