The state of my house after Tom's party

Obviously that's this morning but it's no different from how it looked last night. You wouldn't believe that there'd been 15 15 and 16 year olds in here for four hours! The kitchen and downstairs living room were just as tidy but after eating they'd been in the main living room (in the photo) playing on the Wii after watching a movie.
There were still about 6 of his friends here when we got back, the dishwasher had been filled, the food cartons were all in the bin, there were homemade cookies on a plate in the kitchen courtesy of one of the girls, and when I opened the fridge there was a homemade chocolate cake made by another of them!
I think they can come again.

Quite a few of us on here have spent several years defending today's youngsters haven't we, juat goes to show some of us are doing something right. And the parents of Tom's friends too

They are all invited round next weekend. I'll leave all the makings for cakes and biscuits on the worktop. I'll even throw in a few cans.
