Good morning Saturday

Postby debih » 16 Feb 2013, 08:01

Morning all. I am rather lucky to be here this morning as I spilt wine over my laptop last night! It seems okay this morning, although does smell a little!

I'm off out for the day today - off to Sheffield with my mum. We are catching the bus at 10.45am and going for some lunch before going to see The Full Monty at the theatre. Then bus home this evening. I am so looking forward to having a break from everything and it will do my mum the world of good to have a day away from my dad.

Dad has another hospital appointment today and I thought my mum would cancel our day out but my sister and her partner are taking him. Hopefully we will find out more about whether or not the cornea transplant has worked - he can't see anything still but we don't know if that is because it hasn't worked or because of the bandage lens he has in.

Have a fab day everyone.

Morning Debih, morning all :)
Looking ok here, and no rain. Bb has to work, if he's finished in time I may get out this afternoon.
Have a lovely day Debih, you both deserve a break. Hope it goes well with your dad.
Have a good day all

Morning everyone :) Debih I hope you and your mum have a fantastic day, and that your dad gets some good news about his eyes. Will be thinking of him xxxxxx

Di I hope you manage to get out for a while, and that Minnie has a good weekend xxxx

Saundra enjoy the athletics :) xxxxxx

It's a bit foggy here, but is burning off I think. I'm going to persuade Mick to take a walk with me into town for lunch instead of taking the car - he doesn't get enough exercise working from home.......

Tnjoy the day everyone, it's supposed to be a much milder weekend 8-) xxxxxxx

Good morning. Going to the farm shop soon, dropping in on Mrs C's parents, may go for a walk this pm if I can find somewhere that isn't sodden underfoot! (Which may be difficult).
Have a good one everybody.

Good morning all, it's bright and breezy here, and the wind is cold. We are getting better very very slowly but surely, so another day beckons of not doing very much because we don't have the energy. No dancing this weekend as we don't feel up to it, but we hope to visit Michael and his mummy and daddy tomorrow in their new house up the road. Michael is still sick also, seems to have had flu and a bad cough, we haven't seen him at all this week. I might manage to manoeuver the vacuum around the living room at least, I must be getting better because I can see how awful it looks  Have a lovely day Debih, you deserve a day out so enjoy it, and I hope your Dad gets good news. Love and hugs to all who need them. Have a good day everyone ;)

So glad you're both feeling better Osc, take it easy though - flu can be such a nasty illness, as I don't need to tell you................ Best wishes to Michael too, poor little fella (((((((((((((((((The Oscs and Michael)))))))))))))

Best Wishes for a full recovery for you and Mr O, Osc, I have escaped so far maybe it is the injection. Gloomy here but could be colder. Back to Lidl this morning, they do not seem to have done much apart from new lighting and re-arranging everything to my annoyance plus new trolleys for some reason. Not much to show for six weeks closing. 8-)
