Good morning Wednesday

Postby Ally » 10 Aug 2016, 05:25

Good morning. :D

Flippin hot. 8-) 8-) 8-)

I'm being picked up at 9am by David and we're off yomping to Torrealquería-Cártama. Nice and hilly.

Loving David's 2 week holiday which has allowed us a couple of cheeky weekday yomps.

We should be back for 3ish as the finish is in the next village to us. :D

I'm meeting 3 friends in the plaza tonight at 8pm for beers and a bite to eat - I met 2 of them on Saturday night for the first time at the Kaiser Chiefs concert and got on so well with them......

Have a great day everyone. :D

Morning all :D

Heavy rain last night, but it looks nice and bright right now.

Up extra early as we're expecting the kitchen to be delivered any time between 7-10 this morning. The last few times they've been it's been nearer 7, sods law says they'll be later today. I'm hoping it doesn't arrive until Steve gets here so he can supervise where they put it all. Our available space is reducing by the day :? Inside is pretty much on track, just hope Terry gets his finger out and cracks on with outside as promised.

We kept out of the way most of yesterday, enjoyed the film and then treated ourselves to dinner out. Nothing fancy, managed to find an online voucher for the Toby Carvary offering 2 courses for £6.75, very tasty so a really good deal. Not sure what I'll be doing today, if the kitchen arrives on time I'll pop out for coffee with the ladies, if not and it stays dry E and I will probably have a nice stroll down to the harbour later.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning Ally, Jen and everyone

Hazy this morning, but the sun will soon burn that off.

Hope the kitchen arrives nice and early Jen, then you can escape :D :D

Supermarket shopping later then back to watch the olympics again in the heat of the day.

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning you lot

Ally, enjoy the walk and this evening; always lovely to meet new people you get on well with (although I somehow don't see you not getting on with people?)
Jen, super exciting re the kitchen. I'm as jealous of you as I was of Ton when she was having hers done. I cannot wait for the day I can replace mine
Ton, have fun shopping and then enjoy the Olympics. I'm not into sport at all so haven't watched any of it
Kaz, good luck with your client today and also the carpets later today

Usual work day for me and then meeting with a friend for dinner afterwards - that's all the excitement for me :)

Have a lovely day all xx

Good morning all, it's dull here today and quite cool but the rain seems to have stopped.

I'm just back from town and about to walk Billy. Tom's off to Birmingham today. He got back from Liverpool just before 10pm last night, said he doesn't think he'd bother going there again. He didn't feel that there was much character to the place. That's it for his day trips now - next thing on his agenda is New York in 4 weeks.

Popping to see my Mom later as it's her birthday today, nothing else planned though.

Hope the carpet fitter is on time Kaz!

Enjoy today's yomp Ally!

Have a good day all!

Hope you have a good meeting with your client Kaz x - I didn't see what happened about your carpet but can only assume he didn't turn up last night?

Still poorly so have stayed off today also then I am off Thurs and Fri anyway....hopefully by Saturday I'll be feeling better and can return to work and normality! It was embarrassing yesterday talking to people (or not!) on the phone when I had no voice! And coughing madly to boot

Lovely and sunny here today after a damp evening :)

Ria I'm glad I'm not the only one not to have watched any Olympics! It doesn't float my boat....

Enjoy Wednesday all xx

Yes Gal, I posted on the random thread about it, he forgot about us!! :o  His wife was very apologetic, and as we've used him before and been pleased I decided to give him a second chance ;)

Thanks everyone for the good wishes with my client, things are going very well :)

Ria I haven't watched any either

I got off the bus after seeing L, but instead of walking all the way to Sainsbury's I got the milk and fruit in the M&S garage and popped into The Range for a cuppa and a mooch. Nearly bought some new bedding (it's lovely having my 'own' money to spend again) but realised it might be a good idea to get the new carpet down first   :P
