Sounds good Ally. I am looking forward to the Masterchef final too.

Much cooler here today. I think our summer is perhaps over now.

Have a good day.

Morning all :D

After a dull and wet start yesterday turned out lovely and sunny. It's quite bright now so fingers crossed we get more sunshine today.

The hospital appointment went as expected, it is PCO, a membrane has grown over the new cataract. Means I'm now on the list waiting for laser treatment. I'm hoping they will be able to fit me in here otherwise it will mean travelling to Canterbury or Ashford which would be a pain as I won't be able to drive that day.

Not much planned, just the usual shopping etc.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all :)

Have a good day Ally :)

Rodo I do hope not! Cooler here too, but we have seven weeks of summer left officially 8-) ;)

Enjoy your teacake Saundra, I haven't had one for a while  :D ;)

It's cloudy here, not sure which way it's going to turn yet! Hopefully it will be dry tomorrow for D's party - the forecast is OK. D and I are going shopping today, for party stuff and then a bite of lunch. Tonight we're going round to put an awning up and arrange some tables and chairs. There should be photos tomorrow and I will post some :)

Have a good day everyone :) xx

ETA Morning Jen, sorry to hear you'll need more treatment - hope they can do it locally for you (((x)))

Morning all,

It dawned bright and sunny here but is now clouding over. Woke up late and had to work from the apartment first thing to make an 08:30 meeting. I'll be travelling in over lunch time.

Last bit of the bike parts should arrive today and, hopefully, my replacement tablet. I'll start on pulling the bike apart tonight but I have to go out and buy a 2 legged puller to strip the thing, another piece of kit I used to have but now have to buy again.

Jen, that's a real pain. My BIL had poor eyesight all his life but when he got serious cataracts they did a lens replacement on each eye. He now lives mainly without glasses and has very good eyesight in general. I hope you don't have to travel too much.

Have a great day all.

It started raining here the minute I set the washer going!

As for end of summer - I am already back into my winter nighties!!!!!!! I am also having to use a travelling rug over my feet and legs at night because my summer 4 tog duvet isn't enough now. Yes - I think summer is nearly over!!!!!!!

Morning all

It started as a lovely sunny morning but a bit overcast now... but meant to stay quite warm and muggy. Usual work day for me, but heading out for a lovely lunch with a colleague which makes a nice change.

Jen, sorry to hear re the eye, but good to have confirmation of what it is and that it can be dealt with and fingers crossed they can do the laser treatment locally
Rodo, can't believe you're in winter nighties  - admittedly I think my duvet is slightly more than a 4 tog, but I'm finding the nights quite muggy down my part of the UK!

Have a lovely day everyone, good luck with the various bits you're planning on doing
