Got a lovely email today

When Mr Osc had his fainting episode in England in early May, you may remember me saying that an off-duty paramedic on the train was so very nice and kind, even though it was his day off.
After we got home, I wrote to Southern Rail to commend the platform manager for his kindness and professionalism and they emailed me back a couple of weeks later. I remembered that the paramedic said he was based at Pulborough and I did have his name, so did a bit of research and sent off an email to the ambulance area I thought would cover Pulborough, giving as much detail as I could. I heard nothing back though and was disappointed because I really wanted someone to know how nice he had been. However today I got this email, I was delighted and it's nice to think that he will get a letter from the Chief Executive. It would have been very easy for him not to come forward that day.
Thank you very much for your kind message expressing your gratitude to the ambulance staff member who attended your husband on 4 May 2016.
I hope your husband is feeling more comfortable now.
From the details you have provided I have been able to identify the staff member concerned and I have passed your message to him. He will also receive a letter from our Chief Executive thanking him for his hard work and dedication.
It really is encouraging for our staff when they receive thanks from patients and relatives for the care they have provided, and it is always very much appreciated.
Thank you again for taking the time to contact us.
Kind regards
