A pleasant surprise...

Postby Workingman » 24 Jun 2016, 16:13

... and a nice present.

Some time ago the electricity was shut off, and on and off, for a while.

Today I got a letter from Scottish Power to say I had a credit of £78. When I checked the meter there it was in all its glory.

That's summer's leccy sorted out. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Well done to Scottish power. 8-)

Great news frank
I was with Scottish power
Then I asked them to change my meter from a prepayment one to a quarterly bill
They never arrived and twice they credited me with £40,00
:D
They were terrible with bills and stuff

Saundra, as a tenant I have no choice but to be on a meter, so I never get bills.

However, I do like the system as I always know how much I am using and what to pay. The extra cost is marginal as I always know what is going on.

But a free £78 for a bit of disruption is very welcome.

My landlord is also a solicitor, so we tend not to argue too much. ;)

We actually get on very well. I have been here ten years so have saved her a ton of cash redecorating and using lettings agents to generate income. We both know that is the case. ;)
