The insurance claim for flights and hotel following what happened in England was settled quickly enough and we got the cheque early last week. So last Friday I rang them to say I would be claiming for our cancelled US flights but that it was directly connected to the previous recent claim. So the guy suggested I fill in the form but include a note quoting the other claim reference no. and explaining the circumstances. I did that and it went in the post on Monday. TODAY I got an email saying the claim had been assessed and passed, obviously less the excess, and I will have the cheque within five working days Knowing the (often well deserved) reputation of insurance companies for hating to give out money, I'm very impressed with how well this claim went!
