People who make sure that you're in, as they're coming to collect a free cooker and then turn up 4 hours later

I nearly gave the blasted thing to the builders - they've been asking if they could have it - when is your friend coming.

it'0s been sat outside for 3 weeks - saw the person yesterday afternoon and she said she'd be up here either just before or just after midday.

I know the Portuguese are really bad time-keepers, but she's English.

Perhaps she had a good reason ?

And not really a thank you from her either

She helped us out with the translation of our wills, as we have to have a translator, even though we understood everything and she mentioned she was in need of a cooker. So thought , as well as the 20€ we gave her for the translation, it was worth it.

Knowing more about her now, wish I'd given it to one of the builders.

But hey ho - that's life - live and learn. New area and all that.
