Flipping fun.

Are you having pancakes tonight? We are a family of pancake addicts and the girls have them for breakfast three or four times a week (more if I can be bothered). Sometimes they have the traditional thin ones (their favourites) and sometimes the smaller, thick ones (my favourites). My fridge ALWAYS has a bowl of pancake batter in it!

Tonight L has had 2 with cheese and beans, two with sugar and lemon juice and two with ice cream and strawberry sauce.

L had had 3 with cheese and beans, two with sugar and has just polished off her third with ice cream and chocolate sauce.

And that doesn't count the two each they had this morning with warm fresh strawberries on.

I have had one - with sugar and lemon. But I will probably make another couple for Mick and I to follow our risotto (am waiting for him to come home).

So, by the time I have made two more, that will be 21 pancakes made today.

Pancake mad we are!

I make them whenever I want.... and always have them with sugar or syrup.

However, I sometimes make Findus-like crispy pancakes with curry, chicken or mince fillings - gorgeous. :)

Ooooo - I love Findus crispy pancakes.

Did you once give us a recipe for these WM or am I imagining things?

Can we have them again if you have time WM?

Especially the chicken and the mince ones.

We didn't, we hardly ever have, but have usually done them the nearest weekend the boys have been. Didn't last weekend, so probably won't now.
It's a shame, but we wouldn't want pudding and I'm not keen on savoury versions.
