So far today

Postby tonicha » 13 May 2016, 13:30

We've had 2 lorries, with lots of sand and gravel, 4 pick-up trucks with various men, bringing various tools and more men, one car with a special drill and Sergio

Sergio is the tv and electric guy we use and he also works for Helda and they wanted an outside socket, rather than us having to keep the front door open.

So we have 2 men in the pool levelling it out a bit more and 3 heavy duty outside sockets :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

And Sergio assured me that there is no more rain

that's all sounding very promising Ton - good going.

I assume the sockets will be used for the pump later anyway won't they, or are they a temporary installation only until the pool is done?

xx

Sandra, we now have glorious blue skies and it's lovely and warm; but I gather that wind is going to hit us tomorrow :(

How long will the work take Ton, how long before you can have a dip?

You will need thermals and the heating on... it is only 7ºC here and howling a gale.

And another thing, next door is having a new roof so it's all crash, bang, wallop; and the tarpaulin they have used is flapping about like a giant sail.

Sergio, being a good lad, put two for the bomba (pump room) and one extra for us to use outside, when I want to use anything electric cooking wise :D :D :D

And it should be about 5 weeks, before we can dive in :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

We have still not discussed how and when to pay him (we know how much) and what sort of tiles - although I did say I don't want anything fancy - nice and plain, that's me :D :D
