Morning you two, morning all :)

Have a nice day mooching Ally :) You too Ton :)

Well it is promising another lovely day here, it's a bit hazy yet but set to burn off and be lovely later :) The mister and I will be out later, as per, for lunch and a mooch - might even sit outside Coretto's today instead of inside :D 8-) :Hi: This nice weather doesn't half improve my mood  Then popping to B&Q for some grow bags for D, and we'll take them round later. She is much better by the way, I might well post an update later on the Health board :) B is having a good time in Brum, she looked exhausted last night on a pic one of her friends posted

Osc, I hope E is feeling rested today, and all is well ((((x))))

Nearly holiday time Di! :Hi: :Hi:

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Bright and sunny again here 8-)

We're rushing around getting ready for the trip to Wilts. Fingers crossed the M25 isn't too ghastly today. Spoke to the CH yesterday and mother is doing really well, she was out at a local pub enjoying a pre birthday lunch with three of her friends. Hoping she'll be as happy to see us tomorrow. We're all having lunch together after the visit and then we're driving home, now it's lighter I don't mind travelling back later in the day.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Morning all, miserable day here but I think the rain has stopped for the moment. I need to go out to get some veg and also go to the library. Mr Osc is still in bed, he still has a cold/sore throat, but he does seem better and no doubt will get up around lunchtime. I had a sore throat yesterday plus a migraine, had to take a migraine tablet, but I'm fine today. I am very impressed that my online chat with Ryanair yesterday has produced an email today with the required No Show letter for our insurance claim. The insurance company also emailed me the claim form so I just need to get myself into the mood for filling it out. There is ironing to be done....isn't there always  Have a good day everyone :)

Osc, that is good news about both the insurance claim and that E is feeling better :D Not so good about the ironing though ;)

Jen have a safe trip :D

Well the weather was mixed, after all. It stayed hazy and warm all day until about 5, and then we had the mother of all storms! :o  Still, we had a nice day out and I even picked up some lovely Begonias at B&Q, on a 3 for 2 offer 8-) Hopefully it will be dry tomorrow so I can get them planted ;) Oh, and a tin of Cuprinol so I can finish the edges of the decking where Mick ran out

We're just about to light the fire :o :o :o

The whole country is on either a yellow or orange alert, for very strong winds, rain and flooding and it's blinkin' cold

It's loopy, Ton! I've been in Portugal in May and it's been scorching!

Normally is Kaz - but I've never had weather like this in May.

Had to light the fire, it was feeling a little too cold - yes, I know 18C inside is warm, ut not when you've been here for 10 years - and we have a lot of wood. :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

So I sent Grumpy outside to the wood store

But it really feels lovely and cosy in here - we have the fire, we can hear the wind and the rain - and it's lashing down   Much better than the house in Fuzeta ;)

Speaking to Felipe yesterday, he said that by the end of this month, we'll be back to normal - oh deep joy, 2 more weeks

Forecast's rain for Spain too

I don't care - my bags are packed, I'm ready to go...I don't think I've ever been on holiday without that song being in my head :D

Ton that Fuzeta house was beautiful, but very open wasn't it, hard to keep any heat in. Obviously lovely when it's roasting outside :)
Two years ago we were in Portugal, it was blinking hot!

We're off early in the morning :)
