Good morning Friday

Postby Ally » 29 Apr 2016, 05:39

Good morning. :D

Forecast lovely again. 8-)

Going over to spend a few hours with mum and dad. Conor's meeting us there too and we're all going out for lunch. :D

They go home tomorrow-can't believe they flew over 4 weeks ago today!. They've had a fabulous holiday and both look really brown and healthy. :D

Dreading them leaving :( but I'll see them in July, they're back over in September for 6 weeks and they've booked for April next year. :D :D

Back for homework club 4.30 - 6.30 then meeting Don for Friday beers and tapas. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally, my goodness that four weeks went quickly! :o Safe trip home for your folks, and hugs for you for tomorrow ((((((x)))))

Morning all :) We have beautiful sunshine this morning, but it's still very chilly! I am meeting a couple of the girls from WW in the Quays this morning, for a coffee and a gossip :) I also need to catch up with a few housey things that have been a bit neglected this week! Harry comes this evening for the long BH weekend :D :D I'll probably drop in and see D on my way home from the Quays, for a cuppa and to check she's ok. I popped in yesterday, after my haircut, and she was a bit quiet...

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

It's not possibly 4 weeks already. I think you need to reconsult your calendar!!!

Hope D is feeling better.

Last nights sleep over went so well, I'm impressed. The confused little boy I met at 18 months old, was such a big 8 year old last night. His mum and I decided this afternoon that him and oliver (5) are on the same level, which for B is amazing. I'm so proud of him!!

Tonight's sleep over has a 4 & 7 year old. The house is not as tranquil, but the 4 year old is easier to handle than when I had him last year. We're just trying to get them to sleep now. I'm in the hallway (again) going shhhh at any noise.

Have a good day everyone

Morning everyone

Cloudy again  but warm :D :D

4 weeks already Ally :o :o :o  :? So pleased they've had a lovely time with your all :D

And well done Weka, on the childrens sleepovers - I haven't got the patience anymore - they annoy me    unless they're seen and not heard, bit like next door, really

Hope D is okay Kaz xx

More chicken wire fence removing today - my hands and arms are full of scratches, and we did our first bit of fencing yesterday too - quite chuffed with it - at least it's straight

Might pop down the bar for a beer or two later - might just sit on one of the terraces and admire the view

Have a good day everyone, whatever you're doing xx

Morning all

Ally, same as the others, I cannot believe it's 4 weeks already - it feels like just the other day you were saying how excited you were that they are arriving!

Kaz, enjoy the day out and hope D is a bit more perky when you see her later - such a worry. And enjoy H being with you over the weekend :)
Ton, good luck with the chicken wire removing. Are you replacing the fencing with the same kind or something else? And enjoy this evening whichever you decide to do

Weka that is just amazing. I realise my nephew 'only' has Aspergers but the leaps and bounds he's made as he's getting older (esp since he's been at secondary school) are amazing and I really hope that B does as well. I don't know how severe B's autism is, but hopefully he'll also learn what coping mechanism's he himself needs when things are too much. Well done him for the sleep over - and yes - hats off to you as well.... I bet your friend is totally over the moon and rightly very proud of B ((hug))

Well usual work day for me, then meeting up with Nadine after work and then home... Not exactly sure what the weekend has in store - the only three things planned are vet appointment tomorrow morning, friends for dinner tomorrow evening and then Thomas' birthday on Monday - cannot believe he's 13 already! But that's about it - the rest of it I'll just go with the flow

have a lovely day all

Morning all :D

Clear and bright here, but very chilly.

Well done Weka, having children stay is always exhausting.

Gosh Ally the time has really flown by, I'm sure September will be here before you know it.

Another fun evening with the ladies, the singer was good and unlike the first event the food was really good too :D

Think I'm coming down with a cold, started a bit of a sore throat yesterday afternoon and think I'm getting the sniffles now. Will start dosing myself up as I need to be okay for next weekend and mother's 90th birthday.

Off into town shortly, think we'll walk down along the seafront.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Yes Ria, Grump+y wants a fence there, to separate the side gardens - personally, I'd leave it open, but hey ho   The wire fencing is like we have all the way around the property and it gets cows and sheep out - sadly, not ducks

Morning all, although it will be afternoon by the time I post ;) Sun and cloud here but still too cold :( I'm feeling very sluggish with a sinusy headache, and the Solpadene I took haven't kicked in yet. H/worky pottering around today, although I will head out for a walk shortly, anything to postpone washing/ironing/cleaning  Mr Osc has gone to play golf. Hope everyone has a lovely day :)
