restaurants, that is.
We'd been told that this new ish restaurant was really good. The lamb chop, all 6 or 7 was sublime and the black pork was on par with the adega.
So off we go ................
And not again.
the service as pretty poor, one poor lad doing the bar, tables and being shouted at from the kitchen. If I hear Miguel!!! once more, I'll scream.
We had the unfortunate experience of being seated at teh same time as 12 blokes, who are working locally and had pre-ordered. So I got 5 cold lamb cutlets and 1 hot. Very cold and crispy chips and the most humongeous salad And rice that was lumpy and microwaved
Grumpy had two pieces of his mista which were nice, but the rest were rubbish. And cold
We told Miguel that we weren't happy, he offered us the complaints book - but to be honest, it's such a palaver, we said not.
And nowt off the bill either.
I've often said to Grumpy that the best bit of going out for dinner is going back to our bar, for a glass or 6 of wine
We sat, chatting to Dimas, Alberta and a couple of others, bought another fresh cheese, watched the footie, bought Alberto a drink after he insisted on buying us one, refused to buy Dimas another madrona, as him, madrona and red wine do not mix, watched them playing dominos
