... when you find an opened jar of something in the fridge and you do not know how long it's been there? So, you open it to have sniff ... :shock: :shock: :shock: :oops: :oops:

I am going to invest in some of those easy-peel labels to write dates on. :roll: :lol: :lol:

Mine was Satay sauce from sometime in November 2015.

It had a dome of fur on the top and a fragrance out of this world. :o :lol: :lol:

Mine was pesto from August, discovered on Friday :lol:
Sometimes those 'use within 4 weeks' notices really do mean it don't they? :D

Whereas the mint sauce from the year before was just fine :D
Although I have since replaced it ;)
They should say, 'You really don't want to be using this after 4 weeks'
Or 'Actually this is fine for about a year if you're not fussy' :lol:
