Funnily enough - same here!

Mine was Satay sauce from sometime in November 2015.

It had a dome of fur on the top and a fragrance out of this world.

Don't they just!

Whereas the mint sauce from the year before was just fine
Although I have since replaced it
They should say, 'You really don't want to be using this after 4 weeks'
Or 'Actually this is fine for about a year if you're not fussy'
