Oh dear :( Updated

Just heard that my ex's dad is dying (he has been very ill for some time) and that he (my ex) has gone to the care home to say goodbye and be with him Poor B and H, this is the second grandparent they have lost in a very short space of time (their last grandparent in fact) and I have to break the news to B when she gets home from work shortly

Mick and H are on their way home now, H already knows.

I am sad too, he is/was a lovely man and I always got on well with him.

Thanks Ton. H arrived about five minutes ago, he's sad but otherwise ok, He went to say goodbye this afternoon, bless him he's being very grown up about it all xxxx
