Another, quite frankly, summer's day.

I'm going for a walk this morning!

Back out later for the last of the huge parades. We're meeting our Friday night beers and tapas lot for lunch and tapas...which will no doubt lead into Friday night beers and tapas.

Morning Ally, your day as always sounds perfect

Glories blue skies and sunshine here as well but sadly definitely no summery feel to it - the wind is rather nippy. Lots of rain overnight. I was up at 5am - woken by a high pitched squeal coming from the garden and my first thought the cats were trying to attack a hedgehog but it turned out they were trying to play with a frog; and they can make some awful noises - so 5am frog rescue for me to get the cats away and the poor thing to the safety of the pond. Back to bed and only just got up half hour ago

Not sure what the day will bring - just more pootling about I think. Got a friend coming about 11 to collect a potting table that I don't really need and it's taking up valuable space in the greenhouse and then later someone coming to collect something I'd put on freecycle but that's about it.

Gentle pootling for us - too much hard work this week makes for achey backs, sore arms and general knackeredness

Well, we are having a nice day so far Hot X buns and tea in bed (OMG the crumbs ) then we are wandering out later, to the Spring Festival down at the Quays Poor B is working down there today, so we might walk past the shop and give her a wave I didn't get my weeding done yesterday as it poured down, but Mick did get the regrouting done in the shower cubicle, it looks like new I will do the weeding when we get home today, if it stays fine, which it should do
