What's for dinner?

Postby Kaz » 15 Mar 2016, 18:33

I made a large version of my cheese and onion puff pastry tarts, and we had slices of it with baby leaf salad :D 8-) Becky's is in the microwave waiting for her to get home from work which won't be until 9ish.

There was a bit of pastry left over, so I made a small apple tartlet with it ;)

Well I've fallen off the diet wagon a bit lately Ton. Not sure how healthy the puff pastry was, but the apple and the salad must get me some brownie points :P ;) :D

Dish of the day? Enjoy it, whatever it is :D :Hi:

Cheese and onion quiche, new potatoes with spring onions, loads of spinach added, and a mustardy dressing, very carroty coleslaw and baby tomatoes :)
And the last of Sunday's tiramisu :D

Oh yum, that sounds delicious, just my kind of food, apart from the tiramisu as I don't like coffee

Grumpy had 4  thick slices of pork loin, covered in some sort of sauce, which was interesting ;) chips, rice and salad. I had chips, rice with 3 humongous slices of turkey breast, with the Portuguese cream sauce, with peppercorns and mushrooms.

The bill, which included 2 coffees, bread, olives, butter and half a litre of red wine was 21 euros :o :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

We then went back to the bar and paid 4 euros for a litre of red    and watched the old men play dominoes :D :D
