Good morning. :D

Tis a grand day for a mountain climb which is handy as that's exactly what I'm doing!

Yomping up Monte Palomas with David. :D :D

We've done this one before but this time we're taking a different route and will end up at the wolf statue. :D

Really looking forward to it. :D

Have a great day everyone.

Morning Ally and everyone

Rather lovely here too this morning, after yet more rain last night. At least our bore hole will be full or as near as it can be :D :D

In absolute agony this morning   Grumpy thinks it's the sciatic nerve - I just know it hurts to move and I can't even walk and trying to cary anything is agony too. On my right hand side, around the hip and back.

So today's plans have been scuppered, but I can supervise from the window, I suppose.

Supposed to be chicken curry for dinner, but we'll have to see

Enjoy your yomp Ally and hope the rest of us have a good day xx

Morning all, dull day here and I'm feeling a bit yuck for no particular reason. I have lots of stuff to do, but will see how I feel. Two major sports live on tv.....Ireland playing rugby later on, but in the meantime, wall-to-wall coverage of our general election count, which is a sport in itself  Might get out for a walk later. Enjoy your day everyone :)

It is easing, thankfully - probably strained muscles in there too

But we've just had the most amazing storm - missed the end of Mr Martin - as we had a very thick black cloud racing over us, heading towards Spain ;) laden with rain and then hailstones and then rain, with massive gusts of wind

Blew some of the fence panels down - well, they are rusted - and the tarpaulin off the outside table and chairs. And they were pegged down :o

Now we have lovely sunshine 8-) but by heck, it's cold

Good afternoon, all. it's cold but sunny here.

Sorry to hear you are in pain, Ton. That sciatic nerve can be a difficult one to deal with.
Mrs A has lots of problems with hers, where it terminates down in her big toe, and there
doesn't seem much they can do to effect a cure for what they describe as peripheral nerve
damage, except prescribing morphine-type drugs with their consequential side effects.
I do hope you get some relief from it.

We had a busy day yesterday, so a day of rest is on the cards today.

Ton I had sciatica down one leg and someone taught me a manoeuvre to ease it. You lie on the floor facing the wall then shuffle until your bottom is almost touching it, then 'walk' your legs up the wall until your bottom is right up against it and your legs are fully at right angles but fully supported by the wall. You stay like that for as long as possible, and it relieves the pressure on the nerve xxx
