I was laughing so much I was crying

Ever tried to hang washing out when the wind is so strong that you're jumping up to try to get hold of the washing line???

If I stood one side of the line I got slapped in the face by the washing and if I stood the other side, I couldn't see as the sun was in my eyes.

But with the help of a tall Grumpy, I've now brought it inside.

It blew dry - no sun needed.

Nice though - fresh air dried laundry. Right up there with fresh mowed lawn and fresh baked bread at the top of most amazing smells

I'm longing for the day I have to wear my sunglasses to hang up the white washing because it's so glaring in the sunshine - for now however it's a long distant memory :D

At least the washing is dry well worth the effort
I try to dry all my washing on the line
My problem is the front garden like today has sunshine
My back garden is cold damp 'm and no sunshine till summer
And nobody has a washline in the front garden or do they

Same here, saundra, our washing line (circular thingy) in the back garden doesn't get the sun in the winter months.

So our washing goes on our radiators inside the house to dry off ......

Like Ria, I love the smell of line dried washing, especially for bedding and towels 8-) I like to use my line as soon as the weather is good enough, I got really cross if I have to use my tumble drier in the summer, when it rains
