Genes

The ones we have not the ones we wear ;)

As I'm getting older, mu skin is looking more and more wrinkly - crevices, really, just like my maternal grandmother, which doesn't bother me an iota.

I was chatting to a new friend last night - who I thought was about 55, maybe younger. her husband also looks young and they're from my part of the world.

She's almost 6 year older than me

And another friend, who is in her 70's looks as if she's in her early 50's.

I must have been a baaaaaad child ;)

 Just the luck of the draw I reckon ;) Oh and FWIW I think you look great! :D 8-)

There is a lady at WW who I often chat to, I thought she was in her early 60s, so when she told me she wasn't that far off 80 I almost fell over! :D

I am watching the Real Marigold Hotel on BBC2 and Jan Leeming is one of the crew. She is 74, WOW! Talk about good genes.

Mrs S has excellent Genes. I, on the other hand, am visibly and physically ageing about 2 years for every one of hers. Just as well she's older than me then. Although she is occasionally heard to complain that she married a younger man, not an OLD man! Sensitivity, to me at least, is not her strong suit.
