Water water

We have our own water supply here, which we filter by proper means and can use it in cooking, but until we have it tested, I'm not going to risk drinking it.

So at the moment, we're getting through about 20 litres of drinking water a week - tea, coffee and just general drinking water.

At 42 cents for 5 litres, we're quite pleased :D

It would be fine once boiled though, wouldn't it? - after all, if you're cooking with it x

Possibly Di - but a gyppy tum is not something I'd want - but we can get it tested at the chemist - which we'll do one day soon.

True - best to be wary.
Be interesting to see what the test says :)

Have only spoken to Carlos and Judy, one of our neighbours and their water smells   but they are at the bottom of the field, whilst we're on top. Possibly a different water supply :?

The other one's. Brian and Lesley, we haven't really spoken to them much - they tend to keep themselves (and their blasted darking bogs   ) very much to themselves.

Definitely better to be safe than sorry, and lucky the drinking water is so cheap to buy! xxx

totally agree, you don't want to be risking tummy's and esp Gladys for the sake of €2.00 a week - not worth it.

Kaz, the 2l bottles of store own brand sparkling or still water are usually between 17 and 20 pence here so just a teeny tad more than what Ton is paying ;) I never buy any form of 'branded' water

thought water was for washing in .lol

we are paying 88 cents for 6 litres here although tap water is ok, slight "brackish" in the very hot weather though because of storage tanks being in the sun i think

I only ever buy the little bottles Ria, 6 for £1, just to take to zumba, own brand. Otherwise we use tap water :)
