Today was not as planned

Postby tonicha » 04 Feb 2016, 15:05

Having had a late breakfast, sat outside ion our new chairs, we decided to look for new sofas and a dining table.

Went to a place we'd heard about and bought 2 leather sofas and a table with just 2 chairs (more can be bought if needed) and it's being delivered this afternoon :Hi: :Hi: :Hi:

Also caught with a lady who is going to translate stuff next week, when we go to the Notary - by law, we need her - and have also sorted out collection of the old stuff.

Not going for dinner tonight now, we want to sit on our new sofas    so we'll go tomorrow night, instead :D

Oh that's fab Ton!! :Hi:

My day wasn't as planned either - Emma had to cry off as she had a poorly hubby to nurse, so I went up to see D instead. I took some soup and we spent a very pleasant few hours looking through old photo albums, as she had lots of hers and Micks's dad's trip to Vancouver and Whistler in the late '90s for me to show Becks. Of course we also got side tracked by her other albums, including trips to Israel, a Nile Cruise and some Greek Island hopping. I love looking though old photos 8-)

Kaz, I love looking through old photos as well

Ton, that sounds like a fabulously successful - wish my lounge was big enough for that many seating places. I'm well and truly jealous

It's an awkward space, actually Ria

Our shutters are inside, not out, so we had to squish the back of the sofas down and although they are larger than we really wanted, we'll get used to them

The table is spot on, size wise and if any-one does come over in the winter or we need to sit 4 around it, we can, using the chairs from our pine table, which is outside on the back terrace.

The sofas are a sort of burgandy/auberginey colour and soooooo comfy :D :D :D And leather too :D

And all that, free delivery, 1,760 €. so Grumpy not moaning - well, any more than normal :cute: :cute:
