Good morning Tuesday

Postby meriad » 02 Feb 2016, 08:11

Morning all

A rather grey and dreary, windy day today but hey, I have the day off so quite happy :Hi: :Hi: :Hi: - waiting for the plumber to come check out the drain issue and then have the rest of the day to myself which will be great. Have a few things to do at home. The one cat flap stopped working yesterday so that will be priority to sort then a trip to Sainsburys for a few bits and bobs but that's about it

Have a lovely day all xxx

Morning Ria and everyone

Thick fog again this morning, but when it clears and the sun comes it, it's blinkin' hot  8-) 8-)

Hope the plumber gets to you nice and early Ria and then you can enjoy your day :D :D

Ironing for me later, then another not so busy day, back a little easier this morning.

Hope Bb is feeling a lot better today too xx

Have a good day everyone xx

Morning all :)

Guess wot? It's raining here :P

Ria enjoy your day off, and I hope they can clear that drain! xxx

Ally, enjoy your run :)

Morning Ton :)

Think I need to do some supermarket shopping later, so like Ria will be going to Sainsburys  We didn't do our usual Morrison's run on Sunday of course, being out for the day, so we're running out of a few bits. Need to get the hoover out too, and do a few bits round here...

Have a good day everyone :) xxx

Morning all :D

Too early to tell what our weather's like today, at least it's dry so hurrah for that.

Up early as it's the hairdresser this morning. She's completely chaotic and now has a second salon so I'll need to phone first to check which one she's in today, I've been caught out before

Started my 4 days of BP readings this morning, have to take two in the morning and another two afternoon. The last time I did this it averaged out okay, it's a bit up this morning so we'll see.

Hope you all have a good day :D

Well plumber has come and gone. We had an interesting first few minutes trying to find any sort of rodding point / drain cover but there just doesn't seem to be one. He got his oojama gadget out, did a bit of hard labour pumping that rodding thing through the pipe and hey presto.... one times one cleared drain.

He says what I took out was years of built up grime (which I find hard to believe because I know it wasn't like that last or the year before - but hey ho) we'll keep monitoring and make sure it doesn't happen again. And what he's dislodged the other side of the u-bend is the same mucky build up again. But he's happy it's now all cleared and I'm happy the drain is clear and flowing so all very happy

And what a nice chap he was - a 30 minute visit of chatting and talking about all sorts

Morning all :)
It rained all evening and most of the night, but it's actually brightening up a bit now :D

Glad you got the drain done nice and early meriad, enjoy your day off :)

Jen are you going somewhere nice and quiet for your readings, sit/lie for a few minutes, eyes closed, deep breaths xx

Ton he's feeling fine thank you, it's just tricky seeing ;)
Just watching the end of an under-19s cricket match then think we'll go out somewhere since the weather isn't looking too bad.
Hope you all have a good day

Morning all, dry with some sun here, not sure how cold it is or isn't. I'm back to Pilates this morning, with some restriction on use of the ankle. We have the children this afternoon, so that's the rest of the day spoken for. Have a good day everyone :)

We had a lovely time :D
Across some of the Forest to Hatchet Pond - Shetlands, ponies and donkeys spotted - through Beaulieu and on to Hythe.

A nice wander around (despite the vicious wind), then we were going to the brilliant cafe for lunch but it was absolutely full - market day.
So instead bought the bestest hot pasties from the baker, drove round to the marina and sat on a bench watching a massive container ship coming out.
Hoods make pretty good windshields, and pasties, like fish and chips, definitely taste better outdoors :D

Plus a huge coup in a charity shop - a practically new pair of 'Not your daughter's jeans', amazingly good fit - I knew they were expensive but just checked and they're £140!!! :o  :D :Hi:
I paid £3.50

Oh plus Belgian buns to have with a cuppa in a minute ;) :)
