My mate Em goes to a new WW meeting now, since our old one closed, and has palled up with an old schoolfriend there. She went on Wednesday night and her friend seemed a bit distracted and so Em asked her if everything was ok - and she's only won the blooming lottery! One million quid  She had checked her ticket online, when a message came up telling her to ring Camelot!

They are going to pay off their mortgage (they're in their very !ate 40s) and put some aside to help their kids get on the property ladder! :D

I just want Mick to retire (I worry about how stressful his job is) and a mill would certainly enable that! I'd also like to give the kids the deposit for a house each - get them on the ladder xxx

I agree kaz I was lucky with D he brought a house years ago so deposit was easier so got him sorted
And j needed solicitors and getting moved stuff so I got that sorted
I believe in helping your family if you can when they need it not leaving it in a will and watch them struggling
It gives me pleasure while I'm alive
Hope you win a billion or two

Definitely, Saundra! Houses are so expensive now, especially over near London, where the boys are! I think Becky would happily live at home for ever ;)  :D

Think of us the next few nights, they are resurfacing the street overnight and already the noise is deafening  Hopefully they might get a lot of the really noisy stuff done before we go to bed.

They're doing roadworks overnight!

It's kind of logical as there will not be much traffic... said the planners who will be miles away in their beds getting a good night's sleep.

Ear plugs and noise cancelling headphones is all I can suggest, Osc, with maybe a bottle of Jameson's and a thick pillow.
