Am rather annoyed

Won't go into a long story, but we went to a bbq a few days ago and I made a couple of hot bean salads, at the house, not here.

Had to leave the dishes there, as it was rather late and no-one wanted to do the washing up

Just got all the pans, dishes back. I'll have to wash them again, and I'm really annoyed that the non-stick pan is badly scratched Even on the handles

You couldn't make it up.

I rang our bank in Jersey this morning, as I have been sent a cheque - in sterling - as a tax rebate.

I asked what do I do, as I don't have a paying in slip, nor an address for it to be sent to.

Can't you google it, she said

Actually, no. I'm sat outside our local café, no internet access. I'm on the phone to you, my bank, you tell me where I can send the cheque.

She again said, if you google Barclays Branch in Jersey, it will give you the address.

I really hope they were recording that phone call

Who can you trust with your money these days it's a nightmare hope you get it sorted mind I have a building society a/c never use it just put cheques in when I get one got a letter whole in hospital saying if I don't use the a/c they will close the a/c and hold the money some where else must ring them

Always knew I was a little bonkers

Even with the cover on the pool for the last few days, the water was only 24C

I was warmer getting out than I was in

The leaves seem to be turning quickly. Just looked out and the trees in the woodland behind the houses opposite are suddenly beautiful colours.

Forgot to update that Joe had his first proper shift at his new Tesco job yesterday. He had two training days last week. He seems to like it, there was free food in the staff room which went down well with him and he's not just doing trollies but has also been trained on the till so he spent some time on that yesterday too which he enjoyed.
